Today’s Quote on Challenging Times

“Your obstacles may seem like mountains too big to move, and in your own strength, they certainly are. But as a believer, you have the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Although your circumstances may not change, He’ll give you His comfort, joy, peace, patience, and strength to go through it. The Spirit is God’s promise of continual help to His weary people.”

-Dr. Charles Stanley

Losing a Friend Is Not Easy

Have you ever ended a friendship? Made the decision to stop interacting with someone who was once considered family? What pushes us to the point where reconciliation is not an option? For me, it was a painful decision that I made several years ago.

Today’s Quote on God’s Comfort

“When doctors’ reports are not encouraging, when financial pressures won’t ease up, when efforts to reconcile relationships fail, when death has left those we cherish in its wake – may we too be strengthened to say, ‘But You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.'”     ~Arthur Jackson

Today’s Quote on Purpose

“God has been stretching you throughout your life for a specific purpose He destined for you and you alone. With each situation you have experienced or endured, you have been stretched. Your experiences have been used by God to strengthen you and your faith, and now He is calling you to be an example of what He is capable of doing. Not just a witness for Christ, but for His power in your life, because your life matters to God.”              ~Tracie Miles (Author of Your Life Still Counts)
